A note to the Editor In Chief of JADEN magazine

Copy writer and Magazine Editor Candice Daphne, creates and distributes indie magazines for under-represented writers. JADEN magazine, focuses on wellbeing and self discovery, and has been a playground for creators, poets and writers to express themselves and feel seen. Candice has built a platform for so many people whether it be creating alongside her or writing for her in the making of this magazine, and for that so many people are grateful.

I connected with Daphne through social media. Her work stood out to me and I relished the opportunity to lend my proofreading services for her fourth issue.

This collaborative relationship has been a beautiful one. I am yet to meet Candice IRL, but she can only be better in person. She has become a good friend whilst we motivate each other for our continues projects.

I have also had the opportunity to write an article for her most recent issue of JADEN (issue 5) and it allowed me the space to be in front of the camera rather than behind it in my usual editing sphere. This was healing for me in so many ways.

The results of the magazine are amazing, and I look forward to finding out what her next project will be!
